When reading a book, you want to take care of it and use a
bookmark to mark your place. Never fold

fingertips to begin your crafting. From

and you’re looking for an excuse to frequent your favorite craft store, then
what better time than now? With die
cuts, jeweled embellishments, tassels, embossing tools, patterned scissors and

Templates - If
you simply don’t have the time to cut, paste, lace, and tie, then don’t forget
the electronic possibilities. Most
computer software programs have templates for bookmarks ready for you to add
your special touch to that allow you to make multiple bookmarks with a few
simple clicks. This allows you to
utilize your stored family photos, which you can copy and paste onto the
template along with a special message.
Printing on cardstock or photo paper also gives it that nice finishing
touch and all you have to do is cut them.
Sewing - Lastly,
if you like to sew, many have utilized old fabric swatches and scraps to create
bookmarks. By taking two contrasting yet
complimentary fabrics such as black and white toile, a hot pink solid, black
and pink grosgrain ribbon, pinking shears, Stop-Fray, and thread you can create a trendy fabric bookmark. If you have a machine that does embroidery,
you may choose to monogram a piece of the fabric before attaching it. This really gives it a personalized touch.

project for kids, specialty groups, for the elderly, and as an activity to do
